Never played before? Don't worry – everyone starts somewhere.

Lawn bowls is a friendly, sociable sport that can be enjoyed by people of all ages and abilities. Whether you are looking to stay active, meet new people or try something completely different, you will be made very welcome at Mansfield Bowling Club.

No experience is needed and all equipment can be provided. Our coaches and members are always happy to help you learn the basics at your own pace, and there is no pressure to play competitively unless you want to.

  • No. We can provide bowls and equipment while you're learning.

  • Comfortable clothing and flat-soled shoes are all you need to get started.

  • Yes. We offer introductory sessions both indoor and outdoor so you can experience the game before deciding whether membership is right for you.

  • Yes. We welcome junior bowlers and provide coaching in a safe and supportive environment.

  • Yes. Parking is available at the club, including 2 for people with Blue Badges

  • Absolutely. Visitors and spectators are always welcome.
